stitches

Well, Rielyn had her first surgery on Tuesday.  I had to witness it.  That's something I'll never do again.  She had a pea sized lump on her head that was growing.  The dermatologist wasn't sure what it was but said she wanted to take it off and send it to pathology so that's what she did.  Now, I don't do well with shots or blood so watching it and then hearing my child scream and cry in pain was about the worse thing I've ever experienced.  I'm sure it affected me more than it did her.  She doesn't even seem to notice the three stitches in her head and it looks like it's healing well.  We'll find out in a week what it was so keep your fingers crossed that it was nothing.
