So why the long time with no post, you ask? Well, I feel as though my first real post should be something of importance, you know, something to make us notable....and by "us" I mean my husband Ben and I. This is supposed to be "our" blog but I'm sure I'll be the one primarily writing on it. This being his fourth year of medical school, he's just a little busy with doing his monthly rotations, studying for boards, applying for residencies, etc.
To give you an update on us...We've been married for 5 months now...5 (and a half) crazy, beautiful, up and down months. We've got a cute little apartment in Omaha that I've finally gotten decorated. Ben's busy studying and doing the med school thing. I'm busy working and "keeping up the house." I've actually become quite the little cook (I like to think). We've discovered what a "grown-up" budget is...that's been exciting. You know, the usual.
Well, I'm going to end this post now so the awkward first introduction thing is over and I can start to post random stuff. I'm better with random. :)
